Hi there! I’m Elise Montemayor.

I’m an Austin-based Digital Marketing Coordinator at KXAN News and a radio co-host for Chillville on 101x. With a degree from Texas State and four years of hands-on experience, I specialize in bridging the gap between brands and the communities they serve.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of spearheading digital campaigns for iconic Austin events like Kite Fest and the Austin Heart Walk, as well as aid in leading community outreach for initiatives like Clear The Shelters and Friendsgiving (KXAN’s annual fundraiser for The Central Texas Foodbank).  My dedication to impactful storytelling even earned me a Lone Star Emmy Award for our 2025 summer campaign.

Growing up alongside the evolution of social media has given me an intuitive "north star" for what resonates. I believe the heart of marketing is human connection. Whether it’s a high production campaign or a 15 second TikTok of dogs, it’s all about understanding people.

Beyond the Screen: When I’m not analyzing trends, I’m leaning into my passion for music on 101x, where I help curate weekly shows and highlight emerging indie artists. I’m an avid thrifter, record collector, and multimedia artist who truly loves "touching grass" in the beautiful Austin outdoors.
