• Clear The Shelters is an an annual, nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign held every August, spearheaded by NBCUniversal and Telemundo-owned stations

  • For the KXAN Clear The Shelters initiative, I spearheaded a multi platform digital campaign designed to drive local adoptions. This included a series of custom social graphics and two high energy vertical videos spotlighting Austin’s local shelters. By highlighting waived and discounted adoption fees for August events, the campaign successfully connected Austin residents with pets in need of a forever home.

  • I went 'on location' to Austin's biggest shelters to get the real story. By interviewing the dedicated staff and volunteers who know these animals best, I was able to create content that was both informative and heartfelt.

    I produced the final assets using Adobe Premiere Pro and Canva, collaborating closely with our internal design team on custom lower thirds and motion graphics, while seamlessly integrating national brand assets provided by NBC."

  • Our mission was simple: clear those shelters. We knew that to make a difference, we had to meet people where they already were. By bringing these local shelters straight to their social feeds, we turned scrolling into a meaningful opportunity for connection and adoption.
